Setpember 2003 – September 2004: Graduation and General Update
Music production has unfortunately been slow during the latter parts of 2003 and the first half of 2004 due to the demands of a final year computing degree which has just been completed. However since achieving a Starred First in BSc Computer Systems Engineering at UEA, UK and moving to Kent to peruse a career in the Avionics industry, spare time has been more plentiful and production work has resumed in earnest!
Exciting news is in the pipeline concerning a new remix for Fundamental Recordings for a much loved and very well known female vocalist. More details to follow soon!
September 2003: Solid Globe – North Pole remix competition: WINNER!
Fundamental Recording’s Solid Globe – North Pole remix competition has come to a close, and included on the release of 6 mixes will be a remix under the new Liquid Life alias of ‘Blue Light’. With people asking who the new mysterious producer/remixer ‘Liquidlife’ was in forums all round the internet, it seemed to be the time to get some news into the world! This new website is aimed to de-cloak some of the mysteries surrounding ‘Liquidlife’.
10 May 2003: Sunrise demo leaked
The Liquidlife remix of Sunrise is set for UK release in the Autumn. An unfinished demo has somehow emerged onto the Internet amongst file swapping communities. The file was initially tagged
‘Goldenscan-Sunrise_2003__Liquid_Life_Remix-CD-2003-USF_INT.mp3’
is NOT the final version that will see UK release. There has been a re-mastering of the production since this inferior version. Enjoy the mp3 release (there is little point condemning mp3 these days…), but bear in mind that an improved version will be gracing your record decks later in the year!
